Lovenote Bride Photo Tour

In November of 2019, I had the pleasure of traveling to Vancouver, BC to attend the ARC Creative Conference. It's one of my favorite yearly conferences for photographers, and I've even had the honor of speaking at it in 2018.

Having flown in a day before the conference kicked off, I had some extra time to explore Vancouver. After a short hike in the morning at Whytecliff Park, I met up with Wedding Photographer Brian Van Wyk and Dress Designer Gaby Bayona for lunch and a tour of Lovenote Bride’s studio and retail space in the heart of Gastown’s bridal shopping district.

Lovenote's studio is aglow in natural light pouring in from historical windows. The brand's muted and natural colors are present everywhere, washing the space in a warm rosé glow. The walls are adorned with Gaby's designs, alongside select other designers picked by the Lovenote team. A bride shopping for her dream dress can also find an assembly of hand-picked accessories and veils. The intimate space and curated collection only lend further to the experince, Brides work one on one with Lovenote's stylists to help them find the perfect design.

Below are some photos I took while checking out Lovenote's space, I consider them to be like a virtual photo tour of the studio. Many thanks to Gaby Bayona for the opportunity.
