Why should you print your photos?

Why spend thousands of dollars on photos that only live on your little phone screen or as a desktop background? These are your memories, and your memories are meant to last.

Give your images a home and life off the screen, print them the very best way you can, with a Heritage Wedding Album.

When studying photography, I discovered a deep appreciation I have for tangible prints and book arts: everything from the weight of the paper, to the intimacy of viewing a book, to how photos on pages develop a narrative.

Your album is the perfect way to print and display your timeless photos. All of the best moments from the day are contained in a handcrafted crafted album, made entirely of archival materials so that you can hand down these photographs for generations.

I want this book to live with you, on your coffee table, or your living room, or in the hands of your friends and family when they come to visit. I want you to be able to share this book with your kids, so that they can see how amazing your wedding day must have been. This book, like your memories, will stand the test of time. The perfect way to celebrate all the hard work you put into organizing your wedding celebration.

How does ordering work?

1.

First, pull your favorite 50-100 images from your wedding day and send them over to me so I can start designing your album. While I work on designing it, you pick your album’s options. I’ll send back the design layout, you let me know if you want any changes made and once you love it, we will put the order in and it will be on your doorstep in the following weeks.

2.

Below are all the options for you!

Go through, pick what you want, then send us an email with your selections!

Crafted by Midwestern Artisians

When I began producing albums, I craved the form of classical photo books, and researched over 45 different book binderies to find one that offered the perfect mix of high quality and aesthetic.

That search lead me to a Midwest based company that constructs each album the old fashioned way, by hand. Their commitment to craft and quality is astounding. Every element is completely handcrafted, using the highest quality materials, with the utmost care. They partner exclusively with only select professional photographers in order to uphold their commitment to quality.

These albums come with a lifetime guarantee from my printer, and in all honestly, they will last so much longer than any other album on the market.

Cover Materials

Choose your cover! You have three types of choices.

Book Cloth is a tried-and-true foundation of our books. It’s the most sustainable, ethical, and timeless cover option for your wedding album. The matte look of book cloth pairs perfectly with your favorite art book, or classic hardcover novel.

Book Cloth is also available as coated (aqueous coated to protect against stains and spills). It has a smoother texture compared to uncoated Book Cloth, and a shiny finish.

Velvet has a luxurious shimmer and texture. Durable yet soft, available for those looking for something a bit more eye catching or unique.

Don’t see anything you like? These are just the options we recommend. Click here for the full list of options.

FM9A1069_web.jpg

Although the Heritage Album is made to be durable in design, a slipcase is included to provide low profile protection, in a unique luxury design. Not only does the slipcase protect your album from the elements, but it also helps the album retain it’s shape and form for years to come.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long does it take to get my album?

From the time you order your album to it being on your doorstep is typically under 4 weeks, depending on the time of year. Each spread is printed one at a time, inspected, creased and hand-bound and this process takes time for artisans to complete. The wait is worth it!

  • How do I choose the images in my album?

Go through your online gallery, pick your favorite 50-100 images, and then share those favorites with me. I'll use these images to design your album so its full of all your favorite moments.

  • Will I be able to see what images are in my album before I order it?

100% Yes! We will make sure your design, layout, and image choices are perfect before it heads to production. Once I make the initial design, I’ll send you a digital copy of the album for you to preview and to request changes. Once you’re happy with everything, it goes to my amazing book making team for production.

  • How much is shipping?

Shipping is included in the price of the book.

  • Is tax included?

No. Sale tax applies to physical items like albums.

  • What if I want to rush my order?

Rush production and shipping is available for $150. Your album will arrive in 7-12 business days.

  • Do you take Custom Requests?

Custom requests can be accommodated; I'm happy to collaborate.

  • How long do albums last?

The printing and binding processes used by my team are all archival, meaning your prints will not fade or shift in color for 100 years or more. Albums and books are guaranteed for life. For more info on that, click the “what makes your albums so special?” button below.

  • What makes your albums so special?

Most album printers in the market use an antiquated printing process called C-41 printing, its the same kind of printing your local drugstore might use to make photo prints. It’s fast and cheap for the company producing the prints, but due to the long-term instability of dyes, C-41 prints will fade or color-shift over time.

So instead, I sought out a midwestern bindery that only use the Giclée or Archival Inkjet method of printing. This printing process, when used with acid-free archival papers and pigment inks, not only produces stunningly accurate colors and tones, but also creates prints that will not fade for well over a century. It is the same printing process used by fine-art museums worldwide to create their exhibition prints.

The bookbinding artisans that produce my albums give each print and album a white glove treatment, printed and hand-cut one at a time, inspected, creased, and hand-bound and wrapped. The end result of which is a timeless piece of outstanding beauty and craftsmanship you’ll treasure for a lifetime, I guarantee it.
